The funny thing is the media hyped conficker up for a few days before it was suppose to activate. I didn't hear a whole lot after April 1 about the fallout, if any, that conficker allegedly caused.
I am not saying it was hoax, but the media dropped the ball on reporting aftermath.

I think you would be safe in saying Hype. Another way place more restrictions on responsible users is my guess. Also I must note MS was actually a step ahead of the worm creators on this methinks.

This gets stranger by the day. Hypothetical conclusion, World Wide Security Check. From, you guessed it the Secret Service, they were seeing if Obama's new blackberry was secure. lol So, half Myth, half truth from my previous posts. I wonder what we can get away with comes to mind. The more I think, the less I want too.... One thing that rattles me, MS was on top of this, this may be very similar to insider trading. Here is one of many official reports, from the experts... [glow=red,2,300] blog.trendmicro.com/downadconficker-watch-new-variant-in-the-mix/[/glow] Someone that runs McAfee run down their explanation, I am out of time for today.
