What's IE? Oh, yeah, Internet Explorer. I haven't used that since '01 or something. And hey, you got a new member. In all fairness, Microsoft tries. I'll give them that. I DO have to use Internet Explorer on their site while I'm at work for downloading their volume license stuff.

I beta tested 8 back in August of 08 and then ran the RC1 version after that. A recent reformat of the machine I was running it on regressed me back to 7.
I will say this. When 8 was in beta I was impressed with it. What I did not like was you could not uninstall 8 beta or RC1 back to 7. You could do a roll back to a point where you were using 7 but the roll back took everything else with it.
I have not seen the final release of 8 but the beta and RC1 offered an "Emulate 7" button. That was a nice feature but switching modes often caused a lock up.

Yes I agree, I knew that uninstall was not an option this is why I was hesitant to install on my XP Machine. However, I will be doing a test run on the Vista OS soon. Thanks for the input.
