Here is a good problem to troubleshoot. I am currently using MSIE 7 on a laptop running Vista Home Premium. All updates are current to the OS and browser, as well as all other software patches. When I close MSIE I get an error message saying that MSIE has stopped working, that is is checking for a solution, then restarts MSIE. TO my knowledge I have not made any system changes other than switching from using Windows Live OneCare to AVG. The problem seems to have started right after that, but I cannot explain why. Thoughts?

This solution may sound off the wall but... I had the exact problem, I researched this quite extensivly and believe it or not, I forgot how I fixed it lol... It is indeed a problem partly update related. Make sure Adobe Reader is not conflicting, [glow=red,2,300]update Adobe as well.[/glow] If you will check into your system error reporting tool, controle panel, there is an additional trouble shooter there that will help you run this down. My problem was complicated by [glow=red,2,300](Router Firmware)[/glow] which also showed the small red[glow=red,2,300] x [/glow]when you tried to play YouTube videos or when they were parked on your start page. This was quit hard to figure out as no one tech savy seemed to help at all.
